Today discover UNESCO protected monument Diocletian’s palace in the Historical nucleus of Split. Walk trough the medieval streets as the Romans did 18 centuries ago and enjoy the most impressive sites such as the palace of the great emperor Diocletian with his mausoleum – today’s cathedral, Peristyle, Golden gate, various statues, Venetian palaces and much more. Afterwards spend some free time exploring Riva-Split’s beautiful waterside promenade lined with restaurants, shops and cafes.
Visit Salona an important archaeological site once known as the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia. Salona represents a favorite excursion site for the inhabitants but also of the many tourists.
The remains of the ancient town are very well preserved and are evidence of life from the 2nd century B.C. The old city center, the walls and the forts, the necropolis, the monumental amphitheater, the thermal baths and the sanctuaries all 310 represent a picture of an ancient town and of life before Jesus Christ.

Between two Dalmatian mountains, Kozjak on the west and Mosor on the east side, there one can find the old Fortress of Klis best known for its defense against the Ottoman invasion of Europe in the early 16th century and for it’s marvelous panoramic views of the coastal area. The Klis Fortress is a medieval fortress situated above a village bearing the same name, near the city of Split. Klis Fortress has guarded the frontier, being lost and re-conquered several times throughout its more than two thousand yearlong history.
The town of Hvar is the centre of the island’s tourism, one of the favourite destinations in Croatia and one of the most prominent and visited tourist centres in the whole Adriatic Sea. Hvar is the town with rich cultural and historical heritage such as: the fortress, the Cathedral of St. Stephan, the Franciscan monastery, town loggia, the Hektorovic Palace, the arsenal and the theatre. The town also has many galleries, museums and exhibitions. Discover the historical legacy of Hvar step by step and listen to the stories of the town citadel, the medieval walls, the monasteries and the palaces.
Take a trip through history and visit Trogir-small picturesque town with lot of secrets situated on a lovely island by Adriatic Sea. Reveal the unique memorial heritage for which it was recorded in the Register of World Heritage of UNESCO in 1997. Adore the beautiful masterpieces of famous sculptors such as the magnificent Cathedral’s portal of master Radovan and the reliefs of master Niccolò di Giovanni Fiorentino.

My wife and I are no archaeologists but we like history and sightseeing so we booked this tour and we had amazing time! Croatia is full of interesting history and we learned so much!
