Itinerary
Day 1. ZAGREB
Welcome to Croatia! Your transfer will await you upon your arrival at Croatia’s capital city. Depending on your flight arrival, we leave you to rest or explore the city to take in first impressions. Overnight in Zagreb.
Day 2. ZAGREB
After breakfast enjoy sightseeing tour of the capital and the largest city of Croatia. Walk around the historical city centre and explore major sights and rich history dating from Roman times. Feel unique experience of everyday Zagreb on Dolac, open-air farmers market where locals buy food for past 80 years, meet the locals and taste fresh seasonal products from Zagreb surroundings. On the way to the upper city you will pass the famous Stone gate, one of the best-preserved monuments of the old Zagreb and hear its story. Take a ride with the funicular in Zagreb (optional) and a walk via Lenuzzi green horseshoe – one of the major urban interventions in the history of Croatian architecture and horticulture.

Day 3. ZAGREB—NP PLITVICE— SPLIT
Today travel from Zagreb to Split. On the way we shall stop at National Park Plitvice lakes, a masterpiece of nature. Through centuries water was carving lakes and forming waterfalls resulting with creation of 16 crystal clear lakes. It is the first and the biggest National park in Croatia and the only one put on UNESCO list of natural heritage in 1979. Once we arrive at National park Plitvice lakes, considering weather conditions we will choose the best route between many that are possible. We will hike, cross the biggest lake with the boat and drive with the panoramic bus. Next destination we will not miss on our way to Split, driving along the scenic coastline is beautiful UNESCO city of Sibenik, hear how it successfully combines its famous past and the gift of natural beauties. Enjoy a beautiful two nights stay at the second largest city of Croatia. Overnight in Solin.
Day 4. SPLIT
Morning sightseeing tour of Split. Walk through the medieval streets as the Romans did 18 centuries ago and enjoy impressive sites such as the palace of the great emperor Diocletian with his mausoleum – today’s cathedral, Peristyle, Golden gate, various statues, Venetian palaces and more. Spend some free time exploring Riva-Split’s beautiful waterside promenade lined with restaurants, shops and cafes.
Return to Solin for overnight.
Day 5. SPLIT—STON—DUBROVNIK
Today we leave Split travelling along the coast towards a true pearl of Croatia— Dubrovnik.
We will stop in Ston, small fiserhman town and once very important salt producing centre strategically positioned on the Adriatic shore along important trade routes. Ston was extremely significant for the Ragusa Republic leaving us until today the largest fortification monument in Europe – the defence wall still proudly standing. Ston is also a popular destination for foodies due to the local Mali Ston Bay rich with mussels and oysters – a culinary highlight of any foodie tour in Croatia which you can taste while having free time on your own in Ston. Continue toward Dubrovnik where you will spend three nights.
Day 6. DUBROVNIK
After breakfast you will have the opportunity to visit Dubrovnik. The walls of Dubrovnik girdle a perfectly preserved complex of public and private, sacral and secular buildings representing all periods of the city’s history, beginning with its founding in the 7th century. Walk through city’s main street Stradun and learn of the Rector’s Palace, the church of St. Blaise, the Cathedral, three large monasteries and the City Hall. The Republic of Dubrovnik was the centre of a separate political and territorial entity, and was proud of its culture, its achievements in commerce and especially of its freedom preserved down so many tempestuous centuries. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
Day 7. DEPARTURE
Departure transfer to Dubrovnik airport.

What happens if a group doesn’t make its minimum required number of passengers?
In the unlikely case that departure is cancelled, every client who has paid either deposit or full amount will receive money return in full. Perfecta Travel is obliged to send information about cancellation no later than 60 days before departure date.
What is the tipping policy?
Tips are welcomed but not mandatory. Here are tipping recommendations:
Local Guide/s: 10-15€ per group for a half-day tour, 15-20€ per group for full-day tour
Driver: 1-2€ per person per day
Hotel personnel: 1-2€ per day
What kind of adapter will I need for my electronics?
Croatia uses the standard European socket with round, two-pronged plugs. You can buy an adapter at most electronics stores, or even grab one in the airport on your way out.
